A rotary grass seed and fertiliser spreader is the best option for larger areas. It gives an even application to ensure your lawn develops uniformly, avoiding patches which can occur if spreading by hand. It can also be used to apply lawn fertiliser, making it an essential tool for any gardener or lawn care enthusiast.
These spreaders are better for larger areas as the seed or fertiliser is spread over a wider area. The seed is dropped onto to spinning disc which flicks the seed out in a semi circle in front of you. Dependent on the density of the product being applied, a pedestrian broadcast spreader will spread approximately 1.5m to 2.5m. These spreaders can cover large areas quickly but can be little less precise.
