Embankment plus Clover

This mixture has been enhanced with white clover to provide an additional supply of beneficial nutrients for nearby grass plants. The combination offers fast germination from the annual ryegrass which acts as a nurse crop, protecting other species as they develop.

Our Embankment Grass Seed mixture is formulated with three specific criteria in mind; germinate quickly, stabilise loose soil and survive in harsh conditions. White clover is added to the mix to provide a source of nitrogen on particularly poor soils. This grass seed mixture contains a small percentage of annual ryegrass which will germinate rapidly and provide a 'nurse crop' to help to give the other species a better chance of establishment. Once established the mixture of creeping and deep rooted species will tolerate the harsh conditions found on steep slopes.
