A hendheld spreader is the best option for small areas or areas that are challenging to use a pedestrian spreder on, i.e. steep slopes or confined areas. It helps to give more accurate application to ensure your lawn develops uniformly, avoiding patches which can occur if spreading by hand. It can also be used to apply lawn fertilsier, making it an handy tool for any gardener or lawn care enthusiast.
The seed is dropped through a hole in the base of the hopper and on to a spinning disc which flicks it in a semi circle in front of you whilst you walk and turn the handle. The handheld spreader has a spreading width of approximately 1.5m to 2.5m.
