A ryegrass-free grass seed mixture. Formulated to minimise the risk of laminitis in horses caused by high levels of fructans typically associated with perennial ryegrass.

Our Ryegrass Free Paddock Seed mixture is formulated to be a palatable mixture that minimises the likelihood of laminitis in horses. Laminitis is often associated with perennial ryegrass, so this mixture is formulated as a ryegrass-free option.

This fescue based mixture is formulated to be slower to establish than a ryegrass based mix, although once established it will provide a durable paddock.

Sowing rate = 15kg per acre (1 acre = approx. half a football pitch)
Available in 10kg bags. Contains strong creeping red fescue, tall fescue, meadow fescue, timothy, smooth stalked meadow grass

25% Strong creeping red fescue
25% Tall fescue
20% Meadow fescue
15% Timothy
15% Smooth stalked meadow grass

Initially we were sent the wrong type of seed, but this was resolved very quickly with no fuss. Everyone occasionally makes mistakes, but what is important is how you deal with the mistake and correct it. I cannot fault them on this.
